Exclude expired assets from our searches

Due to the lack of a Library Archive, we have decided to "expire" assets no longer relevant to our organization. However, in the Library, there is no way to exclude expired assets from a search. The only capability we see is to show expired assets only.

    Thanks, Brittany!

Yes, we know of the "Expired" flag but it's not really useful because we do not want to delete/remove expired assets. We want to be able to have a record of files we no longer use. Hopefully the "archive" feature is out soon!

Also, while the "expired" flag is visible in the grid and list view, it is not visible when someone opens an asset. It would be great to have it visible without having to look at the file information. A lot of our assets get "updated" constantly and I can see someone selecting an expired file by accident.

    Thank you!

Thanks for the feedback! We're working on a few things that should help.

First and foremost, we've added a flag on the asset card that quickly shows that an asset has expired, and we've added a filter toggle that allows you to see ONLY expired assets so that you can quickly find and remove them from the library. That should help for the immediate future.

But we're also currently working on the ability to truly archive assets from the library, which will be your long-term solution. Keep an eye out for that capability in a feature release coming soon!
