Option to Create a New Version automatically from an existing task or item in the Library

It would simplify the process of updating existing content if such an option allowed you to automatically create a related task that either exists alongside the original task or integrates itself into the original task with all of the relevant relationships. And when saving to the library it should give you the option to overwrite existing or save alongside and allow you to adjust the file name as needed.
